I’m usually good at getting into books, but after 21 pages, I’m ready to burn ‘The Road’ by Cormac McCarthy. It’s so bad. 21 pages, all they’ve done is walk around and sleep. There’s no speech marks, at all. It’s got tiny paragraphs, ok this book annoys me. How the fuck did it win awards, and how on earth did they make it into a film.
